A service block has been completed along the River Erne in Cavan.
For a number of years work had been on-going by PROJECT Belturbet to develop the amenity in the Cavan town.
The news that the restrooms are now up and running were welcomed at last week,s meeting of the Cavan Belturbet Municipal District.

The new facility provides toilets and showers to those in boats on the river, allowing them to stay overnight and explore the area.
Local councillor Brendan Fay says it's great news for the area and as the tourism season begins for 2023.
