Councillor Paddy McDonald says new safety measures are needed in Bailieborough.
He told a recent MD meeting these safety measures are needed at the junction of New Road on to Anne Street due to new traffic management in the town.
Anne Street is a one-way system, while New Road is a two-way system.
Councillor McDonald asked if better lighting or signage could be erected at the junction.
He told the meeting that there had been some "minor tips" at the junction and added that this would also aid pedestrian safety.
MD Area Manager Alan Lyons said that he would look at "refreshing" road markings and road signage.
He also confirmed that there are no plans to change the traffic management currently in place in the town centre.
