A new Priest is to be ordained in Belturbet later today.
Belturbet native Reverend Thomas Small is currently a Deacon based in the Diocese.
He was ordained to the diaconate in February.

He will be ordained by the new Bishop of Kilmore Martin Hayes at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
The ceremony will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet at 3 o'clock.
Due to Covid-19 regulations the ceremony and the first mass will be restricted to family and friends only.
