A consultant has finalised a feasibility report for the Old Cross Square link road in Monaghan.
This project will see the creation of a road which will be linked from Old Cross Square out to the Armagh road.
According to Cllr Sean Conlon, he is "keen" to see how this will be managed and what impact it will have.

Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Conlon described the degree of traffic congestion in Monaghan Town as "absolutely serve."
He added that members of the local authority are constantly looking at ways to "mitigate" the traffic congestion which is ""creating havoc" at times in the busy town of Monaghan.
