A group on Facebook entitled 'Cavan old Irish Photos' has amassed almost 30,000 followers.
Cavan native Melanie Love set up the group during the Covid Pandemic allowing members the opportunity to share and create conversations about their photographs from yesteryears.
The social media page has been a real hit with people that have Cavan connections from right across the world.
According to Melanie most members are from overseas which allows people to connect to long lost family members or neighbours.
She says it's great to see the power of Facebook being put to good use and 100% of the time all comments are positive and uplifting.
The creator of 'Cavan old Irish Photos' on Facebook says since its inception the page has gone from strength to strength.
