A new electric car charging station could be on the way to Cavan. ESB Innovation have applied to Cavan County Council to install two new vehicle charging units at Tarpey's Supervalu on the Dublin Road in the town.
The application also includes the addition of four charging bays and ancillary site works. County Planners will decide on the issue in September.
