A new digital strategy is aiming to encourage communities in Cavan to "harness the potential" of high speed broadband.
The three year plan sets out the local authority's vision to create a digitally-enabled society.
"Connected Cavan" centers on four pillars, Digital Society and Skills, Digital Economy, Digital Connectivity and the Digital Transformation in the Public Service.
The launch last Friday coincides with the continued roll out fibre broadband connections to businesses and local areas within the county.
