A new defibrillator has been placed outside the Patrick Kavanagh Centre in Inniskeen.
Monaghan County Council is appealing to everyone to inform any first responders of its location.
This comes as businesses and organisations in the county are being urged to register the locations of their defibrillators with the Local Authority.
The initiative between the Monaghan Joint Policing Committee and the National Ambulance Service will ensure every publicly accessible defibrillator is added to a mapping system.
A recent Monaghan JPC meeting was told the details of around 20 defibrillators around the county are still outstanding.
