A new Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher has been elected.
Canon Dr Ian William Ellis was elected today to replace Bishop John McDowell who became Archbishop of Armagh in April.
The Electoral College met online today where it elected Canon Ellis as the new Bishop of Clogher.
The married father of three is currently the Rector of Rossory Parish outside Enniskillen where he has served since 2015.
He previously ministered in St Mark's Parish in Armagh, as well as in Loughgall and Grange.
A date for Canon Ellis's consecration as Bishop is yet to be set.
