New childcare facility in the pipeline for Monaghan

Permission has been granted for a new Early Childhood Education and Care facility in Monaghan.

The new facility in Latlorcan will be called 'The Crayon Box Early Childhood Education and Care'.

It is proposed that 84 children can attend the facility.

Meanwhile, the building will be part single, and part two-storey and contain three pre-school rooms, one of which will have a sleep room and toddler changing area.

There will also be a creche room with ancillary sleep room, milk room and changing area, staff room, kitchen, office space and games room.

There is also provision for onside car parking, outdoor playing areas, and new entrance gates.
