The new Bus Éireann Route 30 schedule timetable through County Cavan begins today.
Bus Éireann says the new "improved" Donegal to Dublin service is designed to provide more frequent and punctual travel for all Route 30 customers.
There are now 13 trips each way every day with a 10-minute comfort break in Cavan.
Departure times have been adjusted too to better reflect traffic conditions and optimise connectivity and punctuality.
From today, all 26 daily services will operate under the Route 30 pattern, ensuring a consistent and more frequent offering to all stops along the Belleek to Cavan route.
While the improved schedule will increase frequency of service for Belleek and Belnaleck in County Fermanagh and Belturbet in County Cavan from 3-hourly to every hour, there is disappointment among users in the Butlersbridge area as the bus will no longer stop in the village.
