Popular Co Cavan chef Neven Maguire is bringing his popular Christmas specials to the big screen tonight as he cooks easy and festive dishes in the world-renowned Adare Manor. Whether you're a seasoned home cook or a beginner in the kitchen, Neven's clear instructions and tips will help you recreate his delicious recipes. The first episode of Neven's two-part Christmas special will be on RTE ONE at 8pm tonight, with the final part to air next Thursday night at the same time.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show, the local chef highlighted how Mac Nean House will celebrate 35 years at the heart of the local community in Black Lion this New Year 's Eve. Speaking in relation to his new show, Neven said that he wanted to showcase great Irish produce and offer ways for households to create lasting memories this Christmas time.
"What we wanted to create with this show and next week's show is memories, it's just a nice journey. They're simple recipes. For me, Christmas is all about family, food and not over complicating it so we're trying to get that message across and show what you can make ahead so that you can enjoy Christmas with your family and friends and I think that's so important."
