Local celebrity chef Neven Maguire says "this year is all about survival" due to the covid-19 pandemic.
He said there was a "real dampener" amongst his staff and diners last night when news broke that NPHET had recommended the entire country be moved to Level 5 restrictions.
Under these restrictions, bars and restaurants would only be allowed to open for takeaway or delivery only.
Maguire said NPHET's advice came as a "shock" to himself and he fears many small businesses will never open again.
