The need to address accessibility issues along walkways at the two primary schools in Clough Valley has been raised by a local councillor.
Sinn Fein’s Colm Carthy says a problem whereby cars are parking along the footpath and directly outside the schools causing problems for other parents passing has been on-going for a number of years.
He says that while those doing this are in the minority, it is creating an unsafe situation for people, especially those with prams or walking aids as they are forced onto the road.
Councillor Carthy has urged people to use the car park which is close by.
