Motorists in the Shannonside Northern Sound region will have to wait a little longer for NCT centres in the region to re-open.
Meanwhile, the Road Safety Authority says certain drivers will be prioritised when NCT tests resume tomorrow.
These include those affected by the problem with car lifts earlier this year and anyone else who has been unable to complete their full inspection.
NCT centres will be gradually reopened on a phased bases along with the National Driver Licence Service and Driver Theory Test.
The Department of Transport has confirmed that 15 centres will reopen tomorrow - but none across Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan or Monaghan.
Athlone test centre is among the fifteen to re-open, with the NCTS hopeful of re-opening the remaining testing centres on a phased basis during June and July.
