The winner of a Lotto prize worth over €1m has just three weeks left to come forward. The National Lottery will travel to Monaghan today to try and find the winner of a Lotto Plus Raffle draw from the 19th of August.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought at Centra on Main Street in Emyvale and it's asking players to check their tickets. National Lottery spokesperson, Fran Whearty says the winner mightn't even be from the county.
"Somebody in Co Monaghan could be a millionaire and not even know it," he said. "We have a National Lottery delegation heading up to Monaghan and Emyvale this morning looking to find the winner. Emyvale is very much a destination town if you're going to and from Donegal.
"So the winner possibly could be from anywhere in the country. They could be from Donegal, they could be from the south of the country who headed to Donegal on their holidays."
