The 30th Mullagh Traditional Fair Day is happening today in the Cavan town.
Visitors can expect to find everything you would find in the Fair Days of old, which, at one time were held in every town in Ireland.
There will be horse traders and cattle dealers, money exchanged with a handshake, hustlers and old hands.
People can walk through Mullagh and enjoy the many food stalls, street dancing, crafts, pig roasting, sheep racing, traditional music, kids amusements including dodgems, and even some free events.
Mullagh will also host the first ever Rural Olympics which involves the precision sports of turf building, wellie throwing, milking, and spud picking.
