A motorcyclist has been killed in a road crash in Co Donegal. He was involved in a single vehicle collision on the R262 just outside Glenties shortly before 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The man in his 40s received medical treatment at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later. Local diversions were put in place last night on the R262 between Kilraine and Frosses.
He was the fourth person to die on Irish roads over the course of the weekend.
