A woman has described the express bus route to Dublin Airport by Bus Éireann as "anything but reliable."
Mary from Leitrim spoke to Joe Finnegan earlier today after her son was left stranded at the Cavan Town bus station during the early hours of Monday morning when his bus failed to show up.
According to public concerns, ongoing issues with the service has also resulted in locals missing flights and other important appointments due to buses either "showing up late" or "not at all" at the Cavan station.
Prior to the incident which left her son and his friend standing in Cavan town alone until almost 4 o'clock in the morning, Mary viewed the express bus route to Dublin as "ideal" for those with early flights.
However, the frustrated mother now says she would "find it difficult" to ever trust the service again.
