The mother of Paul Quinn has marked her son’s 13th anniversary saying ‘no family should have to endure what we’ve endured’.
He was beaten to death at the age of 21 in Oram Castleblayney in 2007, and hile a number of people have been arrested in connection with the death no one has been charged.
His case has been in the news recently with the North’s Finance Minister withdrawing and apologizing for comments he made linking Mr.Quinn to criminality, however his parents were unhappy he refused to state publicly that Paul Quinn was not a criminal.
In March of this year a Garda spokesperson also told Northern Sound News the case remains “active”.
Paying tribute to her son, Breege Quinn tweeted that ‘this time of year is especially hard’ for their family, and this year marks 13 years since they ‘heard his voice’, or ‘saw him smile’.
Finishing her tweet she said they will never stop fighting for Justice for Paul.
