Most appointments going ahead in Cavan and Monaghan Hospitals

There continues to be some disruption to services at Cavan and Monaghan Hospitals today due to the HSE cyber-attack.

Radiology appointments, other than those deemed urgent, are cancelled and people will be contacted to reschedule.

Outpatient and day cases are going ahead largely unchanged and the ED in Cavan and Minor Injuries Unit in Monaghan are open.

However, people are urged to only attend in urgent cases and should contact their GP otherwise.

GPs meanwhile have been told that only urgent or critical samples can be accepted for testing in the laboratory services at Cavan Hospital.
