More than 50,000 people over 60 have signed up for a vaccine since an online portal went live yesterday.
68 year olds can sign up today.
Meanwhile, Age Action Ireland says the relief among people who've received the Covid-19 vaccine is "palpable".
It comes as the HSE reports that over 20 percent of people who can receive the vaccine have been administered their first jab.
