The Government will face further questions over its response to Storm Éowyn later today.
Sinn Féin has tabled a private members motion to debate the issue.
With the Taoiseach out of the country, the usual Cabinet meeting is deferred until tomorrow. Sinn Fein also wants a suspension of the standing charges and levies that are automatically billed to customers even when no electricity is used.
Along with Sinn Féin's motion, the Social Democrats are calling for a Special Oireachtas Committee to be set up to examine the Government's response to the storm. Deputy Cathy Bennett says more needs to be done and lessons need to be learned.
