A Monaghan councillor has hit out at the lack of correspondence from local TDs regarding the upgrade of the N2.
According to Sinn Féin's Brian McKenna, Deputy Brendan Smith was the only representative who responded to council concerns in relation to the works needed to progress the N2 road scheme.
Speaking at a recent Monaghan County Council meeting, Cllr McKenna expressed his concerns, over local TDs not addressing the current situation with Government policy holders.
He went on to highlight the need for the N2 road scheme to begin as soon as possible, despite all the delays to date.
