Money is being made available to any group in County Monaghan who is putting on an event for this year's Seachtáin na Gaeilge. Monaghan County Council's Coiste na Gaeilge says it has a "small amount of funding" to distribute to community groups in the area.
As always, Seachtain na Gaeilge kicks off on March 1st and runs until St. Patrick's Day. Money is available to groups only - not individuals - and the events have to be "As Gaeilge" and held during Seachtáin na Gaeilege.
The grants for things like storytelling, music, sports or pop up gaeltacht events will not exceed €200 per application. Anyone interested in tapping in to the funding available should email [email protected].
