The attraction for minor celebrities who take part in the show is a boost to earnings and popularity but, participants are tested by all sorts first.

Clones Cyclone, Barry McGuigan, will be on our screens from Sunday in the phenomenally successful "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here". His place in the jungle for the 2025 series was announced yesterday.

The former featherweigjht boxing champion of the world will join Colleen Rooney, Corrie, McFly and Strictly stars in Australia for the gruelling six-week gameshow. The Clones man has been living in the UK for a number of years where he has been working as a boxing trainer and pundit.

The Irish Sun's Showbiz Editor Ken Sweeney was on the Joe Finnegan Show earlier. He said the attraction for minor celebrities who take part in the show is a boost to earnings and popularity but, participants are tested by all sorts first:
