Monaghan's Covid-19 Testing Centre has one of the highest positivity rates in the country.
Its rate is at 21%, compared to a national average of just 11.7%.
1,074 tests were carried out at the Monaghan Testing Centre in Cloghan between Wednesday, July 21st, and Wednesday, July 28th, with a positivity rate of 21 per cent during this period.
At the most recent HSE weekly update on Covid-19, the HSE's National Lead for Testing and Tracing, Niamh O'Beirne, said while the number of tests being carried out has remained stable, positivity rates are rising.
She also cited Monaghan as a "particularly busy" testing site.
During the same period in Cavan's Testing Centre in Castlesaunderson, 1,374 tests were carried out, with a positivity rate of 11 per cent.
