Monaghan actress Caitriona Balfe has been nominated for two IFTA (PRON: IF-TA) awards.
The Ballinode native is shortlisted for Best Actress in a Lead Role in the drama category for her part in the Outlander TV series.

She’s also nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in the film category for her role in Les Mans ‘66.
This year’s IFTAs will be held virtually in September due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Caitriona Balfe has won worldwide acclaim for her role in Outlander, gaining four Golden Globe nominations.
