Monaghan Women's Assembly will meet for the first time this evening.
The Assembly officially launched in March, to coincide with International Women's Day, and its aim is to encourage women and people of diverse communities to get involved in Local Government.
This evening's meeting, which is hosted online via zoom from 7.30, will focus on the impact of Covid-19 on women in the county and the election of Monaghan Women's Assembly Executive.
The meeting will also discuss equality and diversity training for councillors and Mná 100, which highlights the role of women during the Decade of Centenaries.
