Bus Éireann has named Caroline Linden Hughes from Monaghan as their Bus Driver of the Year for this region. Caroline will now join Bus Éireann's other regional 'Go the Extra Mile' winners at the National GEM awards on December 11th in Diblin.
The operator said Caroline's award is "testament to her character, professionalism and dedication to excellent customer service". According to Bus Éireann her managers described their colleague as "a dedicated driver, always going the extra mile, receiving customers with a welcoming smile and a real credit to the job."
The Go the Extra Mile awards recognise excellent customer service, community impact, performance and forward-thinking in its drivers.
