A Monaghan woman has been elected Chairperson of the youth branch of the Green Party.
Castleshane's Tara Gilsenan was voted into the position following the Young Greens National Convention on Saturday.
For the coming year, she wants to get an internal harassment policy in place and keep fighting for a Just Transition.
There will be further representation from Cavan and Monaghan, with Ewan Fuller and Rossa Gilsenan also being elected to committee positions.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound News, Tara said she's committed to seeking change, despite being publically critical of Eamon Ryan and the Green Party.
