Pay parking in Monaghan town is to resume later this month.
Charges were suspended early in the Covid-19 pandemic but they will be restored on July 20th.
Monaghan County Council has warned funding for local community groups is at risk because no revenue has been generated over the period of suspension.
Almost 650,000 was taken in by the Council last year in parking charges but that figure is expected to be down substantially in 2020.
