A defibrillator in Monaghan Town will be “unavailable until further notice” due to vandalism.
Monaghan County Council issued the notice this afternoon after vandalism to the defibrillator at the Motor Tax Office.
Monaghan Gardaí are aware of the incident and investigations are on-going.
In a statement to Northern Sound, the Local Authority said it hopes to replace the defibrillator within two days, once it has an opportunity to fix the parts that were broken in the incident.
They’ve appealed for anyone who may have information on the act of vandalism to make contact with gardaí.
