A Monaghan student has become Leas Uachtarán of the Irish Second-Level Student’s Union.
The ISSU is the national representative body for second-level student councils, with over 500 schools affiliated to the union nationally.
Adam Lambe, a 6th year student in St. Macartan’s College, was elected at the Annual Assembly on Sunday May 9th, and will take up his role in July.
Speaking following his appointment Adam stated that he has many ideas of how to improve the union and amplify student voices.
Adam, who is currently the Cavan - Monaghan Regional Officer of the Union is looking forward to continue working on the Vote at 16 national campaign in a leadership capacity.
