Monaghan seems to be coming to the end of its second wave of Covid-19 according to a local GP.
It comes as concerns about contact tracing locally have been raised by Doctors.
The HSE says there is regular contact between it and the NHS in Northern Ireland, with local health officials also informing their counterparts of any need for contact tracing.
Cavan’s 14-day incidence rate has passed 1,000 cases per 100,000 people – the highest rate seen in the country.
