A Co Monaghan secondary school has dismissed media reports that it received a "backlash" from students and the local community over its mural of the fascist politician Eoin O'Duffy.
Last month, Colaiste Oiriall unveiled a mural of prominent local people, including the acting Justice Minister Heather Humphreys, and the Green Party's deputy leader, Catherine Martin.
However, Eoin O'Duffy was among the prominent figures included in the mural and has since been removed from it.
The Times reported that the depiction of O'Duffy was removed following "a backlash from students and some members of the community".
However, in correspondence to Northern Sound, Colaiste Oiriall's principal, Brendan O'Dufaigh, said this "is totally inaccurate".
Mr O'Dufaigh said "no member of the local community, nor no student, nor anybody featured on the mural made any comment, positive or negative".
He added that no "complaint, verbally or in written form", had been made to him or "any other staff member at any time about the people featured on the wall mural".
