Anne-Marie McArdle took to the stage last night to represent Co Monaghan.

The Monaghan Rose says she feels privileged to represent her our beloved county and town of the Carrickmacross.

Anne-Marie McArdle took to the stage last night to represent Co Monaghan in the annual Rose of Tralee Festival.

The Monaghan Rose well and truly put the Farney County on the map when she took to the stage with Dáithí Ó Sé live from the Dome on RTE One last night and performed a beautiful rendition of 'Will Ye Go Lassie Go.' Tonight marks the final night of the popular festival and its Co Cavan's turn to be in the hot seat.

Cavan Rose Grace Farrelly and New York Rose Billie Cooper from Killeshandra are both set to appear live across our TV screens tonight. Anne-Marie says being on the stage last night has fulfilled a childhood dream.
