Cavan-Monaghan TD Brendan Smith used question time in the Dáil to ask the MInister, Eamon Ryan, for more money to fix local roads.

Cllr Connolly said every year that the N2/A5 road isn't upgraded, more lives will be lost.

The "bread and butter" issues for people of this area are roads, housing and access to GP care.
