Canon Patrick McEntee who was parish priest in Dromore, County Tyrone before asking to take leave from his post to deal with the safeguarding issue back in March, is to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court next Monday, 31st July.

The parish priest with an address at Esker Road, Dromore is charged with indecently assaulting one individual between 1980 and 1981 and indecently assaulting a second complainant on dates between 1988 and 1989.
The Canon, who celebrated 45 years in the priesthood last year, worked first as a teacher and then as President of St Michael's College in Enniskillen before taking up the post of parish priest at St Davog's Church in Dromore.
