A Monaghan native is in the running for Chef of the Year at this year's Staff Canteen Awards.
The Staff Canteen Awards celebrate those who are making a difference in the hospitality sector and Peter McKenna is shortlisted for his work in the Gannet Restaurant in Glasgow.
Peter's restaurant is leading the way in Glasgow's food scene and adapted during the covid-19 lockdown to provide meals for impoverished communities in Glasgow.

Voting takes place online at www.thestaffcanteen.com and the deadline for voting is Wednesday, November 11th, with the winners being announced on October 18th.
