A Monaghan mortgage expert has welcomed the extension of the Help-to-Buy housing scheme.
Finance Minister Pascal Donohoe said it will be retained for 2022 at the current rate, with a view to have it reviewed going forward.
Harry Dwyer from Moneycare Ireland said it was positive to see an emphasis on new builds in Budget 2022.

He welcomed the retention of the scheme, saying it's needed given the current housing market.
