A Monaghan man has raised over €2000 for a local mental health charity for his cycle around the Black Sea.
In February, Derek Boyd set off from Greece to begin a 6,000km cycle in aid of SOSAD Monaghan.
SOSAD works to raise awareness around mental health and prevent suicide in the north-east.

The start of the war in Ukraine and injuries meant that he was forced to change his route and go anti-clockwise around the Black Sea to Turkey.
Derek recently returned to Ireland where he presented SOSAD with a cheque for €2050.
