A Monaghan man living with epilepsy says supports have given him a new lease of life.
Fergal McMahon has had the condition since 1992, but says he's now seizure free because of medication and support from Epilepsy Ireland.
As part of Epilepsy Ireland's national fundraising week, Fergal is organising a coffee morning in Monaghan this morning to help increase awareness of the charity and the work it does.
Fergal was speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound during the week and said that talking about the condition helps raise awareness.
