A Monaghan Man who was diagnoised with Cancer last November is determined to heal through optimism and storytelling.
Paul Bond discovered he had a tumour in his bladder and was quickly admitted to hospital for treatment.
Following an operation in which his bladder, left kidney and prostate was removed, he subsequently endured a gruelling sixteen week cycle of chemotherapy.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Paul said he is recovering well and is preparing for an important scan next month.
He added that he is beginning to feel better within himself and is very grateful for the help and support he received a long the way.
