While in the Shannonside Region half of the LEAs are recording above average incidence rates.
These figures cover the 14 days leading up to the 9th of August where the national incidence rate was sitting a 422.5.
In Monaghan each of the electoral areas in the county had a rate above the national average.
The Monaghan LEA had a rate of 868, putting it in the top ten highest rates in the country, and the highest across the entire region.
The Ballybay-Clones electoral area was second to that with 712.8 over the same period, while the Carrickmacross-Castleblayney LEA had the lowest in the county at 429.2.
In Cavan the Bailieborough-Cootehill LEA and Ballyjamesduff electoral area were above the average at 708.6 and 612.4 respectively.
However, the Cavan Belturbet LEA was below the national average during this period with a recorded rate of 342.8.
Nationally a local electoral area in Donegal has a rate of Covid that's over four times the national average.
Carndonagh's 14-day rate is 1,880 cases per 100,000 population - the highest in the country.
Buncrana, also in Donegal, has the second highest rate, at 1,212 - followed by Westport and Swinford in Mayo.
