Three of Monaghan's rising green innovators have successfully completed Bord na Móna's 2024 Accelerate Green programme.
Accelerate Green is a leading accelerator programme, delivered by Bord na Móna in conjunction with Resolve Partners.
The programe is dedicated to scaling early-stage enterprises and SMEs that are leading the response to climate action and sustainability.
The three companies are ACEL Energy, SomaTech and Universal Graphics.
Bord na Móna Chief Executive is Tom Donnellan.
In a statement issued to Northern Sound he said that Accelerate Green is a "unique opportunity" for smaller-scale leaders in the sustainability space to develop the skills and knowledge required to grow their businesses and succeed in Ireland and beyond.

Universal Graphics designs, prints, produces and installs fleet graphics through game-changing innovative materials, that assists companies in their journey towards a sustainable future.
Since the 2024 Accelerate Green Programme launched in January, eight businesses have participated in a series of comprehensive learning and
mentoring workshops engaging with a broad range of leaders from enterprise and energy agencies, Irish-founded companies, research networks and investors. The participants have also participated in networking, mentoring and business development opportunities through engagement with senior leaders across Bord na Móna's business.
