Monaghan IFA says supermarket distribution centres will be targeted if farmers aren't given a better margin.
At the County AGM last night, former national poultry chairman Andy Boylan told the Agriculture Minister that they'd halt food supplies in Ireland if there's no change.
The Agriculture Minister was called on to speak to the retailers and get commitments to end the practice of below-cost selling of produce.
It comes after Monaghan IFA held demonstrations outside local LIDL and Dunnes Stores supermarkets earlier this year until bosses agreed to talk.
Regional Chairman Frank Brady said they won't hesitate to stand on the picket line outside distribution centres.
