A local business has recently put Co Monaghan on the map after it was crowned Ireland's best health food shop. "Bee Healthy" located in Monaghan Town was named Naturally Good Health's Retailer of the Year 2024.
The local business which will celebrate its fourth year in business this Christmas has gone from strength to strength since its inception. Monaghan's first and only independent health food shop was opened by owner Ingrid McCann in December 2020.
Even though it was opened during the worst part of lockdown, Jannette Lambe who works alongside Ingrid said it was risk that has certainly paid off in the end. Speaking to Northern Sound, Jannette revealed that the local business was also shortlisted for the same award last year. According to Jannette, to not only get nominated once again this year but to go on and win it was an "honour."
