A local GP has warned Monaghan is likely to continue to see an increase in Covid-19 cases this week.
Dr Illona Duffy has urged people to follow the guidelines around self-isolation if you've been diagnosed with the virus or are waiting for a test.
Monaghan yesterday saw 14 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, following 15 cases on Sunday.
There are concerns that a continued increase in cases in Monaghan could see restrictions put in place.

The Acting Chief Medical Officer has warned Monaghan is seeing a "fast increase" in its incidence rate of Covid-19.
Acting CMO Dr Ronan Glynn said while the incidence rate can be skewed in smaller counties, there is still a worrying increase locally:
