Gardaí in Monaghan stopped a vehicle with what officers are describing as "vintage" NCT, insurance and tax discs.
The un-insured, un-taxed and un-tested vehicle stopped was subsequently seized by Gardaí. The insurance certificate expired in February 2011, the tax in September 2012 and the last time the car was put through an NCT test was July 2013.
It was stopped as part of a Garda Roads Policing Unit in the county earlier today and not by using Automatic Number Plate Recognition technology, which allows Gardaí to detect uninsured drivers from their car registration plates at a rate of eight cars per second.
